Clos Fourtet
Clos Fourtet, Saint Emilion Premier Grand Cru Classé, has belonged to the Cuvelier family since 2001. The 20-hectare vineyard (in the process converting to biodynamic viticulture) is ideally situated on the outskirts of the medieval town, on the famous limestone plateau. Merlot is the main grape variety. The wine is aged for 15-18 months in oak barrels, most of which are new.
