The producer
Château Grand-Puy Lacoste
Founded in the 16th century, Grand Puy Lacoste is a 5th Growth of Pauillac. Owned by the Borie family, it has been run since 1998 by François-Xavier Borie. Its 55 hectares vineyard is planted for 55% Cabernet Sauvignon, 25% Merlot and 5% Cabernet Franc. After a fermentation in inox tanks, the wine ages 16 to 18 months in oak barrels, partially new.
