The producer
Château Carbonnieux
Château Carbonnieux is one of the oldest estates in the Bordeaux region. Ramon Carbonnieux, owner of vineyards in 1234, gave his name to this estate. Today, Eric and Philibert Perrin run the family estate. The vineyard covers 92 hectares, 60% of which are planted with Cabernet-Sauvignon, 30% Merlot, Cabernet-Franc and 5% Petit-Verdot for the red wines, and for the white wines, 65% Sauvignon Blanc and 35% Semillon.
